To help allow the youngest generations of gaelic footballers develop their kicking & catching technique the lightweight first touch footballs have been created.
To allow for this the balls are lightweight with a soft leather exterior so that grip is not compromised.

The First Touch footballs are to be used in Go Games, which is an initiative by the GAA to emphasize focus on developing the skills and techniques of children from the ages of 7-12 through small sided games.
